Lights Out!

Last Saturday, there was a massive power outage in my neighbourhood. It off towards late afternoon but we were hoping it would be back by night fall.

Couldn't do much in total darkness, so we decided on a candle light dinner with takeaways. A little romantic mood created surrounding buzzing mosquitos.

Back to School!

Day 1 of 6 Year old kindergarten. It's orientation week for the next 3 days and being in the final year is not going to be easy. Lots of pressure to do well so that I can gain enough confidence walking into primary school.

We're still at the temporary facility and hopefully if all goes well, we should be going back to our school just after Chinese New Year.

The final touch up is going on vigorously and would certainly be nice ending my kindergarten at the school I started when I was 4.

This year's countdown was at my aunt's spanking new apartment with the new addition to my family ... My Uncle!

The view from their apartment was simply outstanding to the extent we got a clear view of the fireworks display at Genting Highlands!

We enjoyed great food and joked all night until we raised our glasses to a toast at the stroke of midnight. 2012 has been a rewarding year in it's own way. Lots of learning's and new discoveries.

2013 is going to be a new challenge. Being the final year in kindy, primary school hunt is ongoing but my job is to simply learn and enjoy.
