New Eats @ La Zurich
Today, while rest of the family attended a wedding reception, daddy and I went scouting for new food experience and found this restaurant in Bandar Menjalara.
La Zurich serving Swiss cuisine has been around for close to 3 years now.
It was surprising to see less crowd on a Saturday but it could have been due to heavy rain. It was nice to see rain, hope the water problem gets resolved with this.
I settled for warm water but daddy went for Umbra juice with sour plum.
Starter was the lovely Cheese Malakow (deep fried Swiss Cheese)
For the main course I had the Grilled Salmon with Bearnaise sauce. The sauce is made of clarified butter emulsified in egg yolks, white wine vinegar and flavored with herbs. Daddy had the smoked duck breast glazed with sweet orange sauce.We both shared both the dishes and by the time we were done, there was absolutely no space for desserts hence we gave that a miss.

The 'Malakow' are deep fried cheese puffs. It was very crispy on the outside and a prick with the fork oozes yummy gooey cheese. I haven't been blogging for sometime now as my trusted photographer was away in Chile ... yes the one in Latin America for a month on work assignment.
Been a week since he was back and I received loads of gifts but the coolest is this 'kick ass' jacket. A mix of leather and PVC, it was the best gift he got me.
