Final Assessment - Junior Kindergarten

Phew! What a year this was. Massively taxing for a 4 year old but I pulled through in my own way and style. The school holidays are here and I've signed up for Krista's holiday program for the next 4 weeks. Daddy's rewarding me big time for this, trip and gifts coming soon.

I know I could have done better nevertheless daddy was happy I've shown extensive improvement. The Rock Princess steps into 5 Year old Kindergarten come January 4th!

World Animal Day @ Desa Park City

Last Sunday, SPCA Selangor held the World Animal Day Celebration at Desa Park City. Dog obedience and agility demos, booths by NGOs and vendors, performances ...

 

... and the highlight being Stop Animal Abuse petition!

The event was a lively one with a good turnout despite the heavy downpour in the afternoon. By early evening it reduced to drizzle but didn't dampen the spirits of dog lovers.

The performances were fantastic especially the dance to a full 3 minute song. Now it's not easy hold the dog's attention while waving the doggy treat to make the dance moves. If it was Sindhu, she would have jumped and finished it within the first 5 seconds!

This lovely looking Goldie and his trainer did a piece to the tune of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. Impressive!

The Frisbee catch was by these little fellows who just couldn't get enough and with the wet surface and rain water filled potholes, made it more enjoyable for them.

With SPCA, there will always be dogs and cats up for adoption. By the time we got there only a few were left which is a good thing for they would have got good homes to live in.

Professional pet groomers were seen strutting their skills and this beauty was seen parading among the crowd. Must have been trained to carry a snob look for she never looked straight at the camera.

This little champion spotted a unique design using pet safe dye. Must be his calling name ... Shish!

Year End Holidays Coming Up!

I'm pretty clueless on what I'm gonna do for the year end break. Daddy's been busy scouting for activities while I just wanna kick back and relax. Speaking about kicking, Krista's got Taekwan-Do classes ... Contemplating.

My Net Connection ... Unified!

Early this week Grandpa decided that we've had enough of the 256kbps Streamyx internet link and signed up to Telekom's new scorching Unifi package.

The installers came in the morning and spent half the day getting all the connection up. We were the first in our street to subscribe to this service hence all new cables had to be pulled in and junction box connectivity updated.

The package consists of massive amounts of equipments, a new Motorola phone and a month of free viewing of the premium channels over Hypp TV.

The VIP5 package was the cheapest, offering 5Mbps high speed broadband over fiber optics. A regular download via Streamyx at 40kbps hit a massive 600kbps sending the 85kg daddy leaping in joy!

 I always find a reason to celebrate and what more with my cutie pie Sindhu turning 1 today.

With age doesn't come any responsibility as our shoes will always be her favourite chew toy.
