Last Wednesday was Ganesh Chaturthi. It was Lord Ganesha's Birthday. It falls on the 4th day of the new moon in the month of Aavani (August - September).Both Daddy and Mommy are ardent devotees of the Lord and naturally I have a special attraction to him.
It's a grand celebration in all temples and this year we fulfilled our prayers at the Ganesha Temple in Briekfields.
The exciting part was I came face to face with an elephant! I had the opportunity to touch him and even feed him sugar cane. This is most definitely the best Ganesh Chaturthi for me. (Although it's only my second... ;-)To learn more - http://www.ruthrakali.org.sg/htmlfiles/vinayagar.htm
