The Sri Paranjothi Vinayagar Temple in Sentul held their Kumbabishegam yesterday. It's a believe that witnessing and being part of the ceremony is a lifetime blessing.
We made it to the temple the day before for the Anointment Ceremony (Placing of oil on the deities). Throughout the day, gingelly oil is made available for devotees to place them over the new deities. It's the only time devotees are allowed into the main deity altar.
The committee members and volunteers were seen busy preparing for the big day. Being a staunch Ganesha devotee I really wanted to be there to offer my prayers and how lucky I was.
