Last 2 weeks before getting into Primary school, we made a short 1 night trip to one of my favourite destination ... Melaka! Smurfette came along too.
My regular stop over for breakfast is at the Ayer Keroh rest area. There's always some play time added in. We made an early trip to avoid the traffic.
Despite being early, we still had to endure a long que at the Melaka Wonderland Theme Park and Resort. I was there for the water park!
After a series fun filled water slide play with daddy making his famous reverse slide down, we were tired to our core and immediately headed out for lunch.
The afternoon was pretty much spent lazing around in the room followed by dinner and shopping at a knocked down Parkson sale at night.
The next morning, right after breakfast, we went souvinear hunting and bought some Melaka delicacies from stalls setup just outside the Mini Malaysia.
Uncles family came along with us on this holiday and we had a blast spending time together on all the escapades.
The highlight of this holiday in Melaka was a chance to get a ride in an actual bullock cart. The authentic piece of equipment was in mint condition.
Well taken care off thanks to febreze! If that's what it holds.
The place was packed as it was a Sunday and it's a popular weekend getaway for folks from Melaka and Negeri Sembilan. Adding to the crowd were folks from KL like me.
