Fast Food Time

I've grown up from Baby Food to KFC! We have a huge KFC + Pizza Hut building close to where I live. They've got both indoor and outdoor play area.

It's Official that I'm having Fast Food but it's neither a snack plate nor zinger burger. Mashed Potato (minus the gravy).

I'll take it positively, it's a small start to more exotic cuisines in the near future.

Monday Rush!

It has become a tradition on Monday evenings, Daddy races back from work and we all get packed into the car and accelerate our way to the 'Pasar Malam' (Night Market)

The Monday lineup is at Desa Jaya, 10 minutes drive from Kepong (can be faster if daddy's driving). It's not to buy fresh vegetables or meat, instead our family favourite .... Iddi-appam (String Hoppers)

They are made using a sieve with rice-flour dough squeezed through into small strings onto little woven trays, which are then steamed one atop the other. In the end they look like spaghetti, nice and fluffy.

They are best served with curry and sometimes people have them with sugar or grated coconut.

Thank You aunty for posting all these lovely Sri-Lankan Dishes in your blog (http://lankafoods.blogspot.com/)

Toddling @ PWTC

Dear Uncles & Aunties,

My apology for being away for so long, I've been busy practicing my new found skill, toddling.

I'm at 5 steps before I drop on my bottom. Everyone at home is busy running around with a pillow to make sure I have a safe landing.

Last weekend I was at PWTC for the MITM travel fair. Aunty wanted to explore offers for the Bali trip she's planning.

Daddy took this shot while I was 'walking' on the center stage. I saw him looking through some holiday destinations . Hopefully there's one coming up for me soon.

Toddling @ Metro Prima

This is my regular hang out. It's very near to my home and grandpa takes me there twice a week for the pony ride.

Well ... not a real pony though, it's the one in Wonders Park. There are so many rides to choose from and there's a baby room right next door, makes it easier for me.

For a fee of RM1, I get to ride on the pony for a good 3 minutes, With all the lovely lights and music, it's a very comfortable spin.

Grandpa normally pays the ticket guy in advance for a few additional rounds, so I get to stay on longer. Sometimes daddy hops on with me (He doesn't sit cause the saddle's too small), standing next to me just to make sure I'm holding on tight.

Whatever rides it may be, I'm slowly gearing up for the ultimate one, Genting Theme Park ...

What's on TV?

I'm sure many of you Uncles and aunties have favorite TV program or movie. I like Commercials. They are very colourful, short and has catchy score.

The Chutti TV Promo. It shows the morning routine of a little Baby Sun. The music and animation is very funny especially the part where the baby Sun rushes off when nature calls.

This Channel features excellent programs for children and it originates from India. We get it here on Astro @ 213. Check them out, http://www.sunnetwork.org/chuttitv/
My favorite show is Dora the Explorer. The program is very educational and entertaining with Dora, Boots (in the Tamil version he's known as Bujji), Back Pack and Map. I've got myself a Dora Watch, Pillow and I'm trying to get daddy to buy me a Dora back pack.

Instead he wants to get my hair cut to look like Dora! ... Daddy's got weird ideas.
