Lantern Festival

In-conjunction with the Mid Autumn festival, the local community center held the children's lantern festival to commemorate the festivity and bring all the folks in and around the neighbourhood for some good fun.
The good thing about these activities is that there is no formal invitation whatsoever is required as word spreads fast and they just sense them and gather out of curiosity.
Everyone got busy picking their lantern as you normally don't get these sponsored along with the activity as the expectation is to bring your own.
All of us gathered around for the quick group photo before the neighbourhood walkabout. Well it wasn't gonna be a mile long, just around the playground.
I came prepared in my mickey hair band with lovely LED lights. Would be easy for daddy to spot me should I get carried away running about.
The walkabout created quite a scene with all the screams and cheering.
All these events do end with a big feast but this time around the organizers decided a modest preparation. All in ... a great cultural experience.
