Last night I visited some Deepavali hot spots around town. Our Prime Minister was to grace Jalan Masjid India for a meet and greet before the big celebration.
The traffic was as usual ... horrendous so we had a drive by view before settling at Lebuh Ampang for dinner and light shopping. Missed the PM today.
Everything was on sale and bargaining was at it's peak with daddy starting at mid point then trying to come to a win win situation with the seller.
We also dropped by Jalan Ipoh and got cookies. Prices there are a little more affordable and we got far less squirms with daddy's over the board negotiations.
Just a little earlier in the day we manage to get the 'Nei Urundai' completed. That's one home made delicacy down with one more remaining tomorrow.
Got brand new bed sheets. I love the feeling of lying down on crisp sheets with that nice new material smell. Bliss tonight!
